Other additives are made to prevent external particles from ever getting in the engine. It might be dangerous for the entire device to have something inside it that is not included in the original components. There are certain devices that has to make contact with external materials. But in order to prevent smaller particles from getting in, the bearings have to be applied with lubrication.

Oil is always present when machines are being used. It has a very important function inside these devices. But most people choose to make use of cheaper oil especially if they are going to use the device every single day. Later on, the oil will be laced with impurities that is said to be the main cause of the oxidation process. To prevent this from affecting the parts, you have to add specific substances.

Adjusting the consistency of oil is one important process. Through it, oil becomes more effective regardless of the temperature the engine is on. If the additives are not provided, oil may become thin when exposed to higher temperatures which can cause certain issues.

Air bubbles can be seen at times in oil. You may think that it would not have any effect on machines but it does have a pretty huge impact. It can bring in oxygen that can immediately decrease the effectiveness of lubrication and cause bigger issues.
