Memories Are Made With Panama City Beach Weddings

By Catherine Scott

Weddings are special. When two people decide to formalize their relationship, it should be celebrated. There are all different ways to celebrate. Some couples take their vows in a church setting surrounded by the family and friends who are most important to them. Others prefer to keep it low key and seek a justice of the peace to do the honors. Still others opt for something a little more creative, like the type of services Panama City Beach weddings can offer.

For anyone who enjoys the sunshine, the sand, and the gulf's beautiful blue waters, Florida seems like the perfect place to have a destination wedding. It is a special area of the country, with so much to see and do, that it may be hard to make up your mind just exactly where you want your special day to take place.

Of course you can always pitch a tent on one of the beaches and hold the ceremony there. If you are a little more creative and adventurous you may want to consider some of the other options available. It will probably depend a great deal on what types of activities you are both interested in and how many of your friends will be able to participate.

If you decide to go with a wedding on the beach, St. Andrews Park would be a great choice. There are marshes and pinewoods and acres of beautiful sandy beaches where you can hold your ceremony. St. Andrews is a considered by many to be one of the most beautiful places in the United States.

Another water related option is a coastal cruise with the service held on board one of the local catamarans. Some charters are accustomed to wedding ceremony requests and will be able to give you a lot of helpful suggestions.

Most people would never think of spending their special day at an aquatic center, but it could be a lot of fun and something truly different. The Gulf World Marine Park would be a perfect venue if this idea appeals to you. There are several areas inside the park that are available for group events like wedding services. There are the Tropical Garden and the Dolphin Stadium just to name two possibilities.

Your friends will not believe you if you tell them to prepare for a scuba diving wedding in the gorgeous Gulf of Mexico. You may have to get them into classes and get in some diving practice before the ceremony, but it will be worth it. If diving is a passion for both of you, this is a very feasible idea. Make sure you have all of the necessary certifications that qualify you to attempt this type of ceremony before jumping in. Even if some of the guests decide to stay dry and relax on the boat, everyone will still have a great time and an exciting adventure.

No matter how you plan to spend this special day, Florida is a great choice. There are so many different and memorable venues to choose from and so much natural beauty to bask in and enjoy that you will never regret deciding to come here for a once in a lifetime experience.
