The main aim of the function is to carry out research and find out the potential areas for agriculture to thrive. This will help ensure that there is food security, creation of employment and eventually generation of wealth in the country

The killing of an average of seventy people belonging to an Islamist terror group also made recent headlines. Those responsible for this are the military troops of Nigeria during one of their many tasks. This was not the first time that these two groups were colliding as similar cases had been witnessed in the past.

Forums are being put in place in Nigeria to teach on the importance of carrying out research with a motive of attaining development. The main target group ids the young people who are seen as the cornerstones of the country. Encouragement is put to them to engage in adequate and frequent investigation on how to venture into new areas that have not seen much involvement in the past years.

This makes it the first country in west Africa to host such an event. Its importance is to look into to the difficulties or opportunities that lie within the continent.

Many school girls from a secondary school are reported to have been kidnapped by armed militia. The town in which this fateful misshaping took place is by a great range occupied by Christians. Many fear that these females may have been mishandled and misused but they have to wait and see what happens. They continue having the faith of having their daughters returned back to them.

Other news report that the elections planned next year may not be successful. Insecurity is partly to blame for this. This is because with such a high rate of crime, the time is not yet ripe for new leaders to be chosen and according to their constitution, if elections are not held then the reigning president is bound to continue serving but all in all, this is just a general view.

Bomb explosions are on the upsurge, targeting even bus stations leading to the loss of many lives. Several individuals have lately been detained by the police in association with the terror attacks and are being held captive by the police. They have however been recognized as foreigners and more is yet to be reported concerning the case.
