Several resources are available on the Internet that provide tutorials on getting to know your iPhone. Your preference will depend on what you want to know, the basics or advanced learning for all applications and functions. There are several free courses and some that charge a fee. If had some trouble mastering the iPhone 5, the next generation iPhone 6 will be even more challenging. It has 3D technology unlike any application or system that you may have used in the past. Do not feel embarrassed if you need these tutorials. Anyone older than thirty will benefit from some iPhone online courses.

An Internet search with your web browser will provide you with links to sites that offer free courses. One website provides the user nineteen tutorials. You can select the ones of interest to you and by pass some of the others. At the end the site has a quiz so you can test yourself on how much you learned and retake the courses as needed. You will be able to use your iPod, iPad or phone to access the courses, which are clearly presented and easy to follow.

Log into the iTunes site to find several free tutorials. There are free videos to help you with the basics, and some will refer the user to more resources. These courses are brief, but you can learn a lot in a short bites of time.

The Apple store online provides support pages free of charge. The topics are listed in appropriate categories. You can learn how to transfer data, how to adjust your settings and all about email and messaging. Be sure that you are using iCloud for backup. When a phone is lost, stolen or damaged, if the owner has failed to backup data to iCloud, all is lost.

You can find some online courses that charge a monthly fee of around thirty five dollars. Typically these sites include a free trial period for a few days. The site will encourage the user to buy an annual subscription for over three hundred dollars. This is probably not advisable, since most people will likely get all the usage they need in the first month.

YouTube is another free resource. There are many online video tutorials for just about anything you need to know about your iPhone. It is easy to simply choose the ones that are of interest to you and move onto the next video when you are ready.

Google Chrome has also jumped on the tutorial band wagon. The process is very similar to YouTube. Feel free to compare the two sites and toggle back and forth between the two to find the videos that work best for you.

You may not want to devote excessive time to learning how to use all the features of your iPhone. Still, it is a good idea to devote sufficient time so that you are in the loop and up to speed when the next version is introduced. Be patient with yourself. It really is not all that difficult, just a matter of learning a new skill.
