All models that were manufactured between the year 1974 and 2002 are subject to this legislation. The law states that all motor vehicles are taken for the check after every two years of working.

The renewal of this regulatory programs takes place on annual basis where by the owners visit the service stations where the checking is done and payment of the inspection fee of about 300 US$ is also done. The driver is then given a certificate to show that he has met the law and a sticker is put on the car. This is constantly used by the officials on their duty to check for those who have not complied.

In this city many check points and stations have been established to ensure proper monitoring and enforcement of the laws. The stations have been designed and equipped with good technology and skilled workers who help with the process of inspection of the vehicle systems.
